Overview
Adjunct Faculty in Finance at New Jersey Institute of Technology – Martin Tuchman School of Management (MTSM).
The MTSM seeks Adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the finance area. Adjunct instructors will be given the learning objectives and requirements for each class assigned. MTSM offers an undergraduate degree in Business with concentrations in Accounting Systems, Finance, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Management Information Systems, and a Fin Tech degree. MTSM also offers graduate degrees including an MBA, Master of Science in Management, and a Ph.D. in Business Data Science.

Faculty - Salary Information:
In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the rate for this position is $2591 per contact hour (USD). The pay range considers factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education/training, skills, internal equity, market and organizational considerations. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes incentives, bonuses, or other items.

- Develop and deliver lectures for undergraduate and graduate courses in finance.
- Prepare and grade assignments; monitor and guide student progress.
- Learn and use the learning management system Canvas.
- Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class (office hours) as needed.
- Verify attendance and submit final grades to the Registrar at the end of the semester.
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a field applicable to the teaching area, or current employment with duties related to the teaching subject area.
- Significant professional experience in the subject area; sustained engagement in academic or business/professional activities within the last 5 years.
- If applicable to teaching, submit teaching evaluations; at least two reference letters focusing on teaching/presentation skills, domain knowledge, and willingness to help students; and a personal statement.
- Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited institution in the teaching area; professional engagement activities applying specialized knowledge.
