Overview

RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Adult Psychiatrist for a full-time Consultation-Liaison psychiatry opportunity at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. The C-L Psychiatrist will provide expert psychiatric care for patients with complex medical conditions to all primary care and specialty services as members of interdisciplinary teams by communicating and collaborating with medical and surgical colleagues to optimize patient care.

• Provide consultation-liaison psychiatry care to inpatients as part of interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with medical and surgical colleagues to optimize patient care.

• Completion of a Consult-Liaison fellowship (Preferred)
• ABPN board-certified in Adult Psychiatry
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ
• Experienced working in an inpatient setting (Preferred)
• We are open to new graduates as well as experienced physicians

The anticipated salary range for this position is $315,000 to $475,000 per year. The compensation offered will depend on educational background, skills, and professional experience. Benefits include health, life, disability and malpractice insurance, 401k/retirement, paid time off, and added time off for CME.
