Responsibilities
  • Lead architectural design and documentation from planning through construction
  • Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables
  • Serve as the primary architectural point of contact for clients and project partners
  • Ensure compliance with codes, accessibility, safety, and agency standards
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to project teams to promote continuous improvement
Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the projects supported
  • Licensed Architect (RA) in NY or NJ (or ability to obtain reciprocal licensure)
  • Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible architectural experience
  • Demonstrated experience with transit, rail, or transportation facilities
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong knowledge of building codes and technical design
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with K-12 and/or educational facilities
  • Experience with Public Housing projects
  • Familiarity with alternative delivery models (Design-Build, CM/GC, etc.)
  • LEED accreditation or other sustainability credentials
  • Experience working in a BIM environment
