- Lead architectural design and documentation from planning through construction
- Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables
- Serve as the primary architectural point of contact for clients and project partners
- Ensure compliance with codes, accessibility, safety, and agency standards
- Provide mentorship and guidance to project teams to promote continuous improvement
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the projects supported
- Licensed Architect (RA) in NY or NJ (or ability to obtain reciprocal licensure)
- Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible architectural experience
- Demonstrated experience with transit, rail, or transportation facilities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong knowledge of building codes and technical design
- Experience with K-12 and/or educational facilities
- Experience with Public Housing projects
- Familiarity with alternative delivery models (Design-Build, CM/GC, etc.)
- LEED accreditation or other sustainability credentials
- Experience working in a BIM environment
