Seeking a Graphic and Content Specialist to work at a top firm in Newark, NJ to support firmwide marketing and business development initiatives. The role requires strong graphic design expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced professional services environment. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Business Development.
Key Responsibilities- Design and produce firmwide graphic materials, including:
- Advertisements and charitable journal ads
- Social media graphics
- Professional announcements
- Marketing brochures and client alerts
- Event invitations and holiday e-cards
- Special logos and other branded assets
- Learn and utilize Concep and other digital communication tools to create and distribute firm communications.
- Implement and enforce brand standards across all communication channels, ensuring consistent application of the firm’s style guide.
- Create and maintain marketing templates as needed.
- Oversee photography for the website, attorney biographies, and marketing materials, including taking headshots and photo editing/retouching.
- Maintain and update the firm’s blogs.
- Maintain backups of firm advertisements for attorney advertising compliance purposes.
- Support broader marketing and business development initiatives, including:
- Posting content to the firm’s social media platforms
- Assembling marketing and pitch packages
- Updating attorney biographies and website content
- Formatting internal news reports
- Assisting with CRM (Inter Action), including training support
- Creating PowerPoint presentations
- Assisting attorneys with case charts, schematics, and visual materials
- Provide support to other administrative departments as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including processing charitable contribution paperwork.
- Collaborate closely with marketing team members and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Proven proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
, with the ability to produce high-quality, professional deliverables. - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, paired with strong critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-service mindset.
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work well under pressure while remaining organized and solutions-oriented.
- Self-starter who is proactive, adaptable, and collaborative.
- Professional discretion, diplomacy, tact, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, business, journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within a law firm or similar professional services environment.
