Position: User Experience (UX) Designer

We are looking for a talented User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team in Newark, New Jersey. This is a long‑term contract position where you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging, user‑centric designs for high‑profile projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, brings a strong creative voice to the table, and excels in navigating collaborative meetings with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative and user‑focused designs for mobile and web platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including internal and external enterprise partners, to deliver impactful design solutions.
  • Advocate for user needs and customer‑centricity throughout the design process.
  • Conduct research studies to gather insights and translate findings into actionable design strategies.
  • Present design concepts and solutions with clarity and confidence during stakeholder meetings.
  • Utilize design systems effectively while identifying opportunities to push creative boundaries.
  • Create visually compelling designs that align with project goals and demonstrate storytelling capabilities.
  • Apply data‑driven approaches to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.
  • Design for consumer‑focused and retail spaces, incorporating creative and out‑of‑the‑box thinking.
  • Maintain a strong presence as a senior designer, contributing expertise and leadership to design discussions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in UX design, particularly for mobile and web platforms.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and enterprise partners.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting ideas to stakeholders.
  • Expertise in applying research insights to create user‑centric design solutions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in visual design and storytelling, with a versatile portfolio.
  • Experience in retail or consumer‑focused design projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment.
  • Familiarity with design systems and a willingness to explore creative possibilities beyond limitations.
