Qualifications And Requirements- An appropriate New Jersey Department of Education Standard Certificate, Certificate of Eligibility (CE), or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) as deemed necessary by https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)./
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (preferred), unless otherwise specified by the New Jersey Department of Education.
- Experience with live event production and emerging technologies for social media live streaming.
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum and lesson plans for Audio and Visual Broadcast Technology.
- Teach students audio and video production techniques, including camera operation, sound design, editing, and live broadcasting.
- Operate and maintain broadcast equipment, including cameras, microphones, and editing software.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local media professionals and organizations to provide students with industry insights and opportunities.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies, incorporating innovative techniques and software into the curriculum.
- Mentor and supervise students in school productions and special events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate broadcast technology and content into other subjects, such as journalism, marketing, and digital media.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Principal
Salary, Employment Period, and Union Affiliation- Salary: $70,000 - $110,000
