Seeking a Residential Counselor (Behavioral Care Specialist) for 3rd shift (11P-7:30A) at a Camden NJ facility serving adolescents. Earn $24.50/hour with full benefits including 401(k), health insurance, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, valid driver’s license, one year of direct youth care experience, and physical ability for emergency restraint. Must pass background checks and be certified in First Aid, CPR, and trauma-informed care.
- Establish supportive relationships with youth and supervise daily routines
- Implement behavioral and treatment plans, promote structured programming, and facilitate recreational activities
- Ensure safety, document behavior, administer medication, and support skill development
- Maintain environment, transport youth, and participate in team meetings and training
Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, cultural competence, strong communication, and a commitment to trauma-informed care and youth development.
