This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing sales processes, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting the sales team in achieving performance objectives. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally to drive improvements and deliver actionable insights.
Position OverviewThe Senior Coordinator, Sales Operations plays a key role in improving sales effectiveness through data analysis, reporting, process optimization, and cross‑functional coordination. This individual will work independently with limited supervision while serving as an informal resource to less experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities Sales Operations & Process Optimization- Demonstrate strong proficiency in sales operations processes and systems.
- Identify and implement improvements to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Resolve atypical or infrequent operational challenges using established practices and sound judgment.
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.
- Ensure CRM and reporting systems are properly maintained and updated.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, trends, and KPIs.
- Identify patterns and key issues from partial or conflicting data to support informed decision‑making.
- Provide actionable insights to improve overall sales performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for sales leadership.
- Communicate detailed and complex data clearly and effectively.
- Create and manage a cross‑functional deliverables matrix defining scope, ownership, milestones, and status.
- Monitor progress to ensure accountability and execution visibility.
- Collaborate with other departments to support company‑wide objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in sales operations, sales coordination, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Experience acting as a mentor or informal resource to colleagues.
- Broad understanding of sales operations systems and processes or deep expertise in a specialized area.
- Ability to analyze incomplete or conflicting data and identify key patterns.
- Strong judgment in modifying processes to improve team effectiveness.
