Qualifications and education requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Post-secondary education or apprenticeship.
- Have total understanding of all tools and installation practices including but not limited to Pex, PVC, Copper, Plumbing Rough and Plumbing Finish, reading blueprints, designing schedules.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in construction specific tasks.
- Read blueprints and follow design specifications for installing plumbing system, in both new and existing buildings.
- Have total understanding of all tools and installation practices including but not limited to Pex, PVC, Copper, Plumbing Rough and Plumbing Finish, reading blueprints, designing schedules.
- Take responsibility of assigned job site and act as agent of the company.
- Train all less experienced coworkers to the best of their ability.
- Communicate effectively.
