Registered Nurse (RN) - 5C Medical Teaching Unit - Full Time - Night shift

Base pay range: $41.28/hr – $66.05/hr.

Christiana Care Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 36 hours per week on the Night Shift at our Christiana Hospital on the 5C Medical Teaching Unit. Weekend and holidays per the department guidelines.

General Requirements:

• BSN required.
• ADNs candidates can be considered with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of hire.
• One year acute care or sub‑acute care experience preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in a true relationship‑based care model, building relationships with patients and families as well as with peers.
• Plan and execute nursing care to promote patient wellness and comfort.
• Manage a team of 5 medical/surgical patients per shift and work within a multidisciplinary medical team to achieve realistic healthcare goals.
• Closely monitor patients, manage emergencies and provide ongoing supportive care.
• Help transition patients to the appropriate level of care after treatment and goal attainment.
