Medical Stepdown - Registered Nurse; RN Night shift

Christiana Care Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 36 hours per week on the Night Shift (7p-7a) at our Christiana Hospital on this Unit. Weekend and Holidays - per the guidelines of the department.

The Beacon Award for Excellence recognizes amazing caregivers in units who set the standard for excellence in patient care environments by collecting and using evidence-based information to improve patient outcomes along with patient and staff satisfaction.

• Deliver holistic patient care that is patient- and family-centered to ensure patient comfort and positive outcomes by providing education related to medications and disease processes.
• Closely monitor patients and manage emergencies as they arise.
• Assist in managing a 4-5 patient assignment on the unit.
• Care for acutely ill and complex patients, including telemetry monitoring, non-ventilator dependent trach collar and High Flow Nasal Cannula management, wound care, and related tasks.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team with colleagues and leadership to provide safe, quality care.

• BSN required. ADN candidates who commit to obtaining a BSN within three years of hire may be considered with relevant experience.
• Qualified applicants will have at least one year of experience. Acute care or sub-acute care experience preferred.
• BLS required.

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05. This pay rate/range represents Christiana Care's good-faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary will depend on factors including skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to the job requirements.
