Bio Life Plasma Services is seeking a dedicated Laboratory‑Qualified Nurse to support our plasma collection operations. As a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse), you will report to the Plasma Center Manager and oversee donor eligibility, adverse event management, laboratory test review, and donor communication to ensure safe, high‑quality plasma collection.

About the RoleFrom donor eligibility assessment to the management of adverse events and laboratory test review, you will coordinate essential functions that maintain compliance and quality standards. You will work under the guidance of the Center Manager and, for medical issues, under the Center Physician. Familiarity with plasma collection regulations or a manufacturing environment is required.
How You Will Contribute- Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis (SPE).
- Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs, including escalation to Center Physician or emergency care as needed.
- Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical/technical guidance.
- Support the Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and determine need for further evaluation per occupational health/EHS guidance.
- Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations into pandemic threats.
- High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate degree from an accredited nursing program with state requirements.
- Current license or certification in the state where responsibilities will be assigned (LPN or LVN).
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy.
- Successful completion of the FDA‑approved Bio Life Medical Support Specialist training.
- Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
Hourly wage range: $25.00 – $34.38.
