The Packaging Maintenance Technician supports packaging line operations by performing maintenance, fabrication, and troubleshooting activities to ensure efficient and safe production. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in equipment maintenance, machinery safety, and production line support within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance activities on packaging and production equipment.
- Fabricate parts and conduct routine inspections of machinery.
- Execute preventive maintenance programs and complete line changeovers.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical equipment issues.
- Follow machinery safety and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Operate and support fabrication equipment such as lathes, mills, and bandsaws.
- Maintain smooth operation of packaging lines in regulated production environments.
- Experience supporting packaging or production lines as a mechanic or operator.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
- Understanding of machinery safety, electrical safety, and LOTO procedures.
- Hands-on experience with fabrication or machining equipment.
- Mechanic certification or equivalent technical training.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, food, beverage, cosmetics, or similar manufacturing environments.
