FCS is actively looking for a skilled Sr.
Maintenance Technician for their top client in New Castle County, Delaware. The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Shift Manager, and is responsible for leading the troubleshooting, repairing, preventive and corrective maintenance activities on production machinery including plant blow molding equipment, packaging robotics, trimmers, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience installing, repairing, adjusting, and maintaining plastic blow molding and/or injection mold equipment and machinery including, trimmers, palletizer robotics, and other related equipment.
- Responsible for performing mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment change-overs.
- Skilled at performing root cause analysis, inspecting, troubleshooting, and replacing electro-mechanical components, pneumatics, valves, pumps, conveyors, baggers, hydraulics, and supporting production equipment.
- Experience testing, repairing, and maintaining electrical/electronic systems, PLC's/HMI's, circuits and other electrical systems.
- Background performing and implementing preventive maintenance procedures and programs on related equipment.
- Ability to weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
- May operate blow mold or injection machines when requested.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
