Project Manager, Data Science Manager

• Seeking a Project Management Specialist to support the Project Excellence Team Leader at the Mammalian Toxicology Center.
• This role is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality toxicology study outputs to support molecule advancement decisions and regulatory submissions.
• The position requires coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders to manage study initiation, milestone tracking, and workflow optimization within a GLP-regulated laboratory environment.

• Coordinate pre-study activities to support strategic planning across molecule programs and interdependent lab teams.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, SMEs, Group Leaders, Study Monitors, Strategic Outsourcing, and contract labs.
• Manage study initiation requests via shared inboxes and project management portals.
• Assign project IDs, assemble project teams, and communicate timelines and deliverables.
• Maintain and update master study schedules, milestone tracking tools (including Smart Sheet), and GLP Master Schedule records.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency across regulatory and stewardship planning systems.
• Monitor study timelines, resource allocation, and milestone deliverables.
• Support RFQs and contracted study placements with external labs.
• Design and enhance workflow processes to improve operational efficiency and project execution.

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven project management experience in a laboratory or regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of workflow/process optimization.
• Experience working with multiple electronic databases and project planning tools (e.g., Smart Sheet or similar systems).
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving ability with a strategic and detail‑oriented mindset.

The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between $30.00 - 35.00 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
