Quality Assurance Consultant III

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant III to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Consultant III, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and end-to-end testing on applications and technology to verify compliance with business, technical, and functional requirements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Design and execute comprehensive test scripts based on test strategies and plans to identify defects before production deployment.
• Conduct production certification activities, including manual and automated script execution to certify system health and identify post-production issues.
• Utilize tools such as Selenium, SQL, SoapUI, and Unix commands to perform testing and validation activities effectively.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in QA testing within a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience with Agile testing methodologies and Web Services testing including SoapUI/XML, REST/JSON, MQ, and Unix.
• Proficiency in frontend, ETL, and database testing with extensive SQL query writing and execution skills.
• Technical expertise with tools such as Unix, SQL, Putty, SoapUI, WinSCP, MQ, Splunk, JBoss, Autosys, TOAD, HP ALM, and JIRA.
• At least 2+ years of experience in Selenium automation testing and log/file validation.
