Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Fraud Strategy and Risk Manager to develop and implement first-line fraud product strategy and practices, ensuring comprehensive internal and external fraud coverage across multiple business processes. This role requires a deep understanding of emerging threats to devise effective fraud risk strategies in collaboration with our technology partners, and active engagement with subsidiary and affiliate units to ensure practices reflect our risk appetites accurately.

The candidate will play a crucial role in integrating an understanding of fraud risk into strategic decision-making, collaborating closely with stakeholders to design fraud prevention systems, and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of these solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive fraud risk strategies and practices.
  • Engage actively with assigned units, and stakeholders to ensure fraud practices are effective and reflective of the company's risk appetite.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into detailed fraud prevention and detection solution specifications.
  • Design solutions and build requirements for tools to support regular fraud risk reporting to Executives and Senior Management.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define test plans for fraud detection algorithms and verify their effectiveness through user acceptance testing.
Must-have Skills
  • Expertise in designing and implementing fraud detection and risk management solutions.
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Industry Experience
  • Extensive experience in fraud risk management within the banking or financial services industry is required.
