Utility Worker​/Steward

Key Responsibilities of the Utility Person:

* Cleans clubhouse restrooms daily.

* Cleans Kitchen daily.

* Cleans, sanitizes and properly stocks of all dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.

* Maintains cleanliness of entire kitchen including dry storage and walk-in cooler, sweeping & mopping.

* Performs daily cleaning to include dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods and exhaust system.

* Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.

* Clean, wash and sanitize all dishes, clean kitchen after close.

* Vacuums and sweeps clubhouse daily.

* Collects trash in and around clubhouse area and disposes in facility dumpster.

* Checks the restrooms on a regular schedule.

* Maintains clubhouse cleanliness throughout work shift.

* Cleans and washes golf carts.

* Cleans and maintains an organized golf cart storage facility.

* Assists with set up and cleanup of event tent.

* Assists management team with similar housekeeping tasks when needed.

* Reports all problem situations to the Manager of the Day in a timely manner.

* Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

* Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Utility Person:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Must have a valid driver's license (if driving golf cars).

* Must have a strong work ethic.

* Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public.

* Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment.

* Must have good customer/guest orientation.

* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

* Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.

* Regular and reliable attendance.

* Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job.

Working Conditions:

* Frequently stands, walks and sits.

* Regularly uses hands, pushes, pulls, reaches with arms and hands, talks and listens.

* Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches.

* Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.

* Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.

* Frequently works with cleaning supplies and chemicals.

* Noise level is moderate.
