Program
Description:
- A paid and structured internship for students actively enrolled in a CoARCaccredited Respiratory Therapy program
. - Youll support the department through equipment and workflow responsibilities, and if you obtain a Delaware Working Student RCP Permit
, you may perform supervised patient care activities
within scope and competency.
Role/Responsibility:
- Respiratory equipment processing: clean, assemble, transport, stock, and maintain supplies / equipment.
- Participate in respiratory education sessions.
- Learn and follow infection prevention and safety practices.
Patient-care scope(if licensed Student)
- Perform supervised clinical tasks under the direction of licensed Respiratory Therapists.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in a CoARCaccredited Respiratory Therapy program
. - BLS
- Ability to follow protocols, communicate professionally, and safely handle equipment in clinical areas.
This pay rate/range represents Christiana Cares good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
