Sterile Processing Tech — Full-time, Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM with holiday rotation.
Location:
Newark. At Christiana Care, excellence in patient care begins long before a procedure starts. We are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure surgical instruments and equipment are cleaned, assembled, packaged, and sterilized to support patient safety and clinical excellence. This role performs instrument processing in compliance with CBSPD, AAMI, and HSPA standards while following evidence-based practices and safety policies related to infection prevention and blood borne pathogens.
Technicians maintain knowledge of aseptic technique and basic microbiology and participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving sterilization practices.
