This position is primarily responsible for posting manual and electronic payment batches.
ResponsibilitiesPosts insurance and patient payments to open accounts.
Reviews payment batches for discrepancies. Logs and reports discrepancies.
Posts payments from different insurances. Manages the retrieval of any missing or incomplete payment information received by either the client or the bank lockbox.
Complete month-end reports of daily cash receipts and daily cash journal
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Educational Background:
High School Diploma or GED. - Experience: Prior experience in medical payment posting
- Detail-Oriented:
High level of accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
Technical skills: Proficiency in basic computer skills (email, data entry, Microsoft suite).
