Christiana Care is currently seeking Respiratory Therapists to work full time on 3rd shift/overnight, 72 hours per week. Hours are 6:30 p.m. – 7 a.m. Every 3rd weekend and holiday is required. This position is at Christiana Hospital with rotations to Wilmington Hospital.
Respiratory Therapists provide service to all areas of the hospital, including adult and infant critical care units, medical‑surgical floors, and emergency care, as part of a specialized multidisciplinary team.
There are approximately one hundred fifty‑six full‑time and part‑time therapists throughout Christiana Care Health System. The Respiratory Care Department offers opportunities for involvement in innovative therapy and research within a respected environment where you are valued as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Graduate of a CoArc approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
- Maintain an active certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential; RRT preferred.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
- Licensure in the State of Delaware required.
Hourly Pay Range: $32.77 – $52.43. This pay rate/range represents Christiana Care’s good‑faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including, but not limited to, skills, relevant experience and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
