Chemours is seeking a  
** Chemical Engineering Intern
** to join our Ore Technology team! This position will receive functional guidance from Scientists and Principal Investigators.

As a Chemical Engineer Intern, you will work closely with the Titanium Technologies team gaining valuable experience through hands-on projects in a laboratory environment. You will work closely with other engineers and chemists to drive process optimization and new process development through experiments, data interpretation, and literature reviews.

Location:

Newark, DE

Hours:

Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week

Term: 3-month assignment between May-Aug 2026 (i.e. 3-month assignment between May-August)

** The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:*
* + Working with experienced R&D professionals on process technology developmental projects

+ Participating in process safety management activities and reviews

+ Lab work including the design, construction, operation, and optimization of lab-scale unit operations including reactors, filters, ovens, mixers, pumps, etc.

+ Supporting multiple projects with data analysis, data recordkeeping, and data sharing with team members.

+ Contributing to team meetings and conference calls

+ Safe handling of chemicals and safe operation of chemical processes

** The following is required for this role:*
* + Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Junior or above at time of assignment

+ Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering or similar fields

** The following is preferred for this role:*
* + 3.0 GPA or above

+ Previous experience (industrial or academic) with the following chemical processes: reaction engineering, thermodynamics, titration, filtration, and distillation.

+ Experience working with chemicals

+ Hands-on experience with building laboratory setups
