Posting Description: Long-term Substitute High School Math Teacher
Collaborate with all stakeholders to develop, implement, and assess rigorous lesson plans rooted in deep knowledge of High School Mathematics content and teaching pedagogy. Course load includes:
Honors Precalculus and Statistics.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Meets certification requirements of the State of Delaware for Teacher of Mathematics Grades 9-12 and/or experience teaching higher level mathematics.

• Deliver an instructional program that is multifaceted to accommodate different learning styles, different levels of social and intellectual maturity, and different degrees of academic interest and achievement.
• Engage in professional learning and be committed to continual growth and improvement as an educator.
• Prioritize parental engagement in the instructional program and as partners to ensure the academic success of all students.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
• Promote high expectations for behavior standards and enforce the Code of Conduct.
• Contribute to the school community outside of the instructional program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
