Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to assist with their specific needs
• Inform guests of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available, to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Explain benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently and safely, complying with safety standards and best practices
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy
• Educate guests on Target App features, including Wallet
• Understand Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; guide guests on enrollment and usage
• Process returns following store policies; collaborate with leaders to resolve guest needs
• Maintain a clean, organized work area; manage baskets, hangers, and unpurchased items
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests
• Adhere to safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-Up, and related duties in compliance with applicable laws
• Perform other duties based on business needs

• Effective communication, welcoming attitude, attention to detail, and ability to educate guests about products and services
• Ability to use handheld scanners and technology; work independently or as part of a team
• Remain focused and organized while handling multiple tasks

• Accurate checkout operations and cash handling as needed
• Safe handling and movement of merchandise (lifting up to 10 pounds frequently, up to 44 pounds occasionally)
• Flexible work schedule and reliable attendance
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout)
