A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMERCIAL PLUMBING FOREMAN
You provide oversight and direction for field personnel, ensuring materials are on site before scheduling labor. Using your industry knowledge, you evaluate the quality of work at each construction phase, assist with complex project challenges, and report to the project manager with recommendations. You confirm safety and quality procedures are followed, direct subcontractors and field personnel, provide on‑site training, and inspire the team.
Your leadership helps ensure project profitability while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience on new construction plumbing sites
- 3 years of leadership experience
- Applicable state code knowledge
- Background check and drug screening clearance
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Journeyman certification is preferred. Effective problem‑solving, diplomacy, mentoring, quality passion, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
FOREMAN WORK SCHEDULE
Full‑time:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Overtime may be expected during peak periods.
