This role supports the Crisis - Newark RRC program as a receptionist and provides clerical and administrative support.
Base Pay Range$15.00/hr - $15.00/hr
Position DetailsJob Type: Part‑Time / Non‑Exempt
Shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday
Location: Crisis – Newark RRC
Salary / Hourly Wage: $15.00/hour
- Answers telephones and acts as receptionist, triaging calls and documenting pertinent information.
- Performs routine typing and other clerical tasks including organizing, filing, copying, and faxing.
- Maintains an organized office filing system that ensures confidentiality of all documents.
- Ensures the facility reception areas are neat and orderly at all times.
- Performs functions necessary for initial registration and inputs individual data into computer.
- Oversees the use, maintenance, and repair of office equipment.
- Assists in ordering and stocking office supplies as needed.
- Assists in gathering data required for billing and audit functions as requested.
- Maintains petty cash.
- Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as outlined in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Organizational ability with a high degree of accuracy.
- Works cooperatively in a team environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
Associate’s degree preferred. - Minimum of one (1) year of clerical or office experience required.
- Must be able to pass de‑escalation training as defined by state requirements.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism (HIPAA guidelines and regulations).
- Second‑chance employer; must pass a seven‑year background check, substance abuse testing as applicable, education verification, and if driving is required, a three‑year motor vehicle report and meet insurer eligibility.
