Accounts Payable Manager

Description

Robert Half is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and manage the accounts payable operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role involves supervising high-volume invoice processing while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting software and a commitment to continuous improvement in processes.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead and supervise the accounts payable team to manage daily operations effectively.

+ Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices in a high-volume environment.

+ Conduct and oversee regular check runs to meet payment schedules.

+ Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

+ Utilize accounting software such as Quick Books or Net Suite to manage financial data.

+ Review, code, and approve invoices to ensure compliance with company policies.

+ Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and streamline workflows.

+ Monitor and report on accounts payable metrics to support decision-making.

+ Maintain strong vendor relationships and address payment inquiries promptly.

+ Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

The ideal Accounts Payable Manager will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the Accounts Payable Manage role include and are not limited to:

+ 5+ years of AP experience

+ Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word)

+

Experience with Quick Books preferred

+ High volume AP experience

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills
