Sr. Accounting Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the daily operation of their successful accounting department. This role involves maintaining internal controls, supporting strategic financial initiatives, preparing monthly account reconciliations, coordinating financial tax audits, monitor and analyze account data, overseeing the month end close process, entering general ledger activities, and staying updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure ongoing financial health and growth.

The ideal Sr. Accounting Manager will have solid financial analysis skillset, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong understanding of GAAP standards, and the capacity to multi-task while meeting crucial deadlines.

Requirements

The ideal Sr. Accounting Manager MUST have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the Sr. Accounting Manager role include and are not limited to:

· 3+ years of accounting experience

· Manufacturing industry preferred

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

· Proven GAAP knowledge
