Staff Accountant to join a growing healthcare organization in Newark, DE. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong accounting background, advanced Excel skills, and Quick Books experience who thrives in a hands‑on environment.
Base Pay Range$60,000.00/yr - $63,000.00/yr
Responsibilities- Manage general accounting functions for multiple related entities, including cash management, accounts payable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and budgeting.
- Research and reconcile general ledger discrepancies.
- Allocate, analyze, and report revenue streams to ensure accurate recognition and distribution.
- Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.
- Handle monthly entity invoicing and intercompany account reconciliations.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual gross receipts tax.
- Assist management with ad hoc financial and profitability analysis.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting rules and regulations and provide recommendations regarding company policy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
