Deburring Technician (Detailer)

SUMMARY: The Deburr will detail machined parts as instructed per shop order, print, and/or verbal instructions. Commitment to and support of the Company Core Values are key to success in this position.

• Work with various types of hand tools or air operated tools such as orbital sanders, die grinders, deburr knife, burr whip.
• Report non-conformities to the Supervisor.
• Read and comprehend written instructions.
• Deburr, file, and sand using Scotch Brite, wire brushes, and polishing agents.
• Set up hand tools.
• Install Helicoil inserts, Keenserts, and dowel pins.
• General housekeeping.
• Uphold the company core values.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must have the knowledge and experience necessary for the position.
• Must be able to follow instructions and procedures and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be capable of reading drawings and inspecting the work being performed.
• Work well with others and maintain a professional attitude toward co‑workers and customers.
• Excellent attendance.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six months of experience detailing metal parts in a machine shop.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
