Mixer Operator
Quiet Rock®, the first and most technically advanced sound-damped wallboard, was developed in 2003. PABCO® Gypsum is one of the leading manufacturers of wallboard in the United States and has provided quality products and service since 1972.
This position is located in Newark, CA and is responsible for manufacturing adhesive products by accurately following formulas, mixing raw materials, and operating production equipment.
Responsibilities- Manufactures batches of glue and glue products.
- Utilizes different raw materials to create the product lines.
- Operates various types of mixing machinery.
- Measures and weighs raw materials to produce the finished product.
- Accurately follows set formulas and records material usage.
- Operates a forklift and performs the daily forklift inspection checklist.
- Abides by all safety rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies, ensuring hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- Completes all other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Capability to lift and/or move 60 pounds or more.
- Reliable attendance.
- Ability to work with various chemicals.
- Attention to detail when following a mixing formula.

Schedule & Compensation- Primarily 6:00 am‑2:30 pm, but schedule may vary.
- Flexibility with schedule is required.
- Weekend availability is required.
- It’s a physical job; the environment is dusty and can be hot.
- Pay is $26.73 per hour. Shift differentials:
Swing Shift +$0.75/hour, Grave Shift +$1.00/hour.
