Specializing in precision machining and metal fabrication, our Sanmina Newark, California facility has 15 years of experience in both precision and large‑format solutions for industrial, semiconductor, clean technology and oil & gas markets. We provide comprehensive engineering and test capabilities: from in‑house and hydrostatic leak‑testing of medium and large‑format vacuum chambers to machining of precision stainless steel mechanisms. Our metal fabrication services include grinding, vacuum welding, heat treating, plating and evaluation.

We can process many advanced materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, ferrous‑nonferrous and other exotic alloys.

Router-based tasks involved in shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storage, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Packs, unpacks, checks goods received against purchase orders, maintains records of received goods, and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may also require operating a forklift or a box van. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped, posts weights and shipping charges, and prepares goods for final shipment.

Examines, stocks, and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

• Loads and unloads material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Packages and unpacks, crating and uncrating, strapping, and wrapping materials for shipping.
• Functions as the primary contact for customers and internal management for all operational activities related to the shipping department.
• Works with customers and suppliers to provide accurate data and proactively follow up for Chambers discrepancy resolution.
• Responsible for closing work orders and recording shipping orders on the computer system, printing and labeling items and shipping containers with correct shipping documentation.
• Completes shipping documentation (Domestic/International).
• Reports to the area supervisor for all matters relating to conformance, inventory, or material reports as required.
• May be assigned other material handler duties and responsibilities and is expected to assist with receiving activities as required.
• Works overtime when necessary.
• Practices safety warehouse rules proactively.
• Leads and participates in 5S and warehouse continuous improvement activities.
• Completes all training assigned for the position in a timely manner.
• Drives a box van/truck and forklift. Valid driver’s licence (Class C) and experience with a box truck required.

Salary Range (annual): $52,000 – $56,160 ($25.00 – $27.00 per hour)

Actual base pay within this range will be based on a candidate’s years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills and is just one element of our total rewards package.
