The Material Handler is responsible for a variety of physical tasks involved in order fulfillment with Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Planning groups to support the daily production schedule. The Material Handler uses a truck or van to deliver or pick up materials, may load and unload vehicles, and assists with shipment preparation. The role reports to the Logistics Supervisor and is located in Newark, CA.
Responsibilities- Perform kit pulls and material movements in support of Warehouse, Planning, and Manufacturing per customer requirements.
- Backfill material shortages in cooperation with Warehouse, move material using carts, hand trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks; perform company deliveries and pickups using a company vehicle.
- Share best practices, assist with minor troubleshooting.
- Actively participate in cross‑training.
- Other duties and responsibilities related to Material Handling, as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum one year of related experience and/or training.
