Job Description:Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and a strong background in the automotive, industrial, or heavy equipment sectors.
This role will lead the functional design and implementation of next-generation aftersales and service systems for a leading electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer.
The ideal candidate will possess strong consulting skills, domain knowledge, and experience working in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process cataloging and functional design for aftersales and service systems.
- Drive workshops with business stakeholders to gather and articulate requirements.
- Create detailed user stories and maintain a consistent product backlog.
- Guide the business team through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and user demos.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Ensure all deliverables are met, manage program risks and interdependencies.
- Provide accurate reporting to leadership at both program and workstream levels.
- Work effectively in a multi-vendor, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in the automotive, industrial, or heavy equipment domain or relevant consulting experience.
- Proven experience implementing end-to-end Dealer Management Systems, including modules such as Sales, Inventory Management, Parts & Service Management, Warranty, Integrated Accounting, and CRM.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with tools like Azure Dev Ops or JIRA.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to present complex concepts to non-technical audiences and influence stakeholders.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model with 2+ days per week onsite at the client location.
- Knowledge of high-voltage safety, battery diagnostics, and EV service tools.
- Experience with Agile implementation life cycles across two or more programs.
