About the RoleWe are seeking a CAE Engineer to support advanced engineering analysis and optimization initiatives. This role focuses on using computer‑aided engineering (CAE) tools to enhance product performance, durability, and safety, with an emphasis on Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) in electric vehicle applications.
You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to analyze, improve, and validate designs at the component, sub‑system, and full‑vehicle levels.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and analyze FEA models to evaluate structural integrity and component performance
- Support NVH development activities for electric vehicle programs
- Perform CAE analyses at the component, sub‑system (body, chassis, powertrain), Body‑in‑White (BIW), and full‑vehicle levels
- Utilize CAE tools such as Opti Struct, Abaqus, and Hyper Mesh for modeling and optimization
- Assist with parametrization processes and concept mock‑up development
- Optimize mechanical designs to improve NVH performance and overall durability
- Conduct correlation studies between test data and CAE simulation results
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams including BIW, battery systems, chassis, interiors, and exteriors
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present analysis results to project teams and senior management
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for modeling and simulation processes
- Ensure designs comply with applicable safety and quality standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience in CAE analysis (automotive or aerospace industry preferred)
- Hands‑on experience with CAE software such as Abaqus, Hyper Mesh, and/or Opti Struct
- Understanding of NVH principles and structural dynamics
- Familiarity with FEA modeling techniques
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing precision technical plans, drawings, and models
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, verbal, and written communication skills
- Exposure to engine component optimization (cylinder head ports, combustion chambers, cooling circuits)
- Experience performing CAE‑to‑test correlation studies
- Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional engineering environments
