Accounts Receivable Clerk

Mission Linen Supply is an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk role at a family‑owned linen rental company headquartered in Santa Barbara, California.

The Clerk will maintain accurate accounts receivable records, perform collections calls, process invoices, and support the finance team. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent computer skills, and the ability to multi‑task with minimal error.

Duties and Responsibilities

Writes, types, and enters information into computer to prepare correspondence, statements, receipts, or other documents. Places collections calls to customers and maintains understanding of AR processing.

Data Entry
  • Key daily invoices
  • Prepare invoices and trip packs for delivery drivers
  • File invoices
Accounts Receivable Duties
  • Invoice retention
  • Deposit entries, segregation of duties
  • Collection calls to customers to collect past‑due amounts
General Duties
  • Answer telephones and enter CRMs (Customer Relations Management)
  • Mail distribution
Education and Experience Required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years administrative experience
Other

Skills and Abilities
  • Typing speed of 40–45 wpm
  • Experience working in accounts receivables/collections
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
  • SAP knowledge a plus
