, to join our Currys team s isn't just about keeping wheels turning - it's about ensuring every vehicle meets the highest legal, safety, and operational standards while leading a team that keeps us moving!).
Theٺ role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You'll work 40 hours, Monday to Friday. However, some flexibility is essential - this is logistics after all!
Pay, benefits and more:You will be paid a salary of up to£47,000

- Ensure all vehicles are maintained to legal and operational standards;
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules;
- Oversee defect reporting, rectification, and follow‑up processes;
- Liaise with internal workshops and external maintenance providers;
- Conduct technical assessments and inspections of fleet vehicles;
- Support procurement and specification of new vehicles and equipment;
- Proven experience in diejenigen fleet engineering or vehicle compliance management;
- Strong mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles (HGVs, LGVs);
- Relevant engineering or transport qualifications (e.g., IRTEC, CPC, Transport Manager CPC);
- Familiarity with compliance systems and matrix management tools (e.g., Tachograph analysis, driver CPC tracking, vehicle defect reporting);
- Excellent understanding of UK transport legislation and vehicle safety standards;
- Strong analytical uban problem‑solving skills;
