We are currently seeking a
Fleet Compliance and Engineering Manager.hikari

Theٺ role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You'll work 40 hours, Monday to Friday. However, some flexibility is essential - this is logistics after all!

You will be paid a salary of up to£47,000
per annum, you will also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work‑life balance. • Ensure all vehicles are maintained to legal and operational standards;
• Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules;
• Oversee defect reporting, rectification, and follow‑up processes;
• Liaise with internal workshops and external maintenance providers;
• Conduct technical assessments and inspections of fleet vehicles;
• Support procurement and specification of new vehicles and equipment;

• Proven experience in diejenigen fleet engineering or vehicle compliance management;
• Strong mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles (HGVs, LGVs);
• Relevant engineering or transport qualifications (e.g., IRTEC, CPC, Transport Manager CPC);
• Familiarity with compliance systems and matrix management tools (e.g., Tachograph analysis, driver CPC tracking, vehicle defect reporting);
• Excellent understanding of UK transport legislation and vehicle safety standards;
• Strong analytical uban problem‑solving skills;
