Multi Site Caretaker

Job Overview

Equans UK & Ireland is looking for a Multi Site Caretaker to join our team in Tuxford Academy, Markham Rd, Newark-on-Trent, NG22 0JH
on a permanent basis. This full‑time role is 40 hours per week, offering a salary of £12.72 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Week 1: early shift – Monday to Friday, 05:30 – 14:00.
• Week 2: after shift – Monday to Friday, 11:30 – 20:00.
• Alternating weeks.
• All bank holidays are off.

• Key holder and delivery of full range of caretaking duties including maintenance, sub‑contractor management, compliance records and ad‑hoc cleaning.
• Secure the site and demonstrate practical DIY skills.

• Previous caretaker experience.
• Practical maintenance skills (joinery, decorating).
• Physically fit for manual handling, working at height and mobility around large sites.
• Live within 30 min travel to site.
• Flexible for occasional overtime, weekend cover and additional school use.
• Consistently wear uniform, PPE and present well at all times.
• Full enhanced DBS clearance required (enhanced after offer).
• Full driving licence and own vehicle with business commuting insurance and valid licence to claim travel expenses.
