Headteacher – Autism & Complex Needs School
Location:
Newark
Salary: L18 – L24 (with growth potential to L21 – L27 as the school expands)
SEND Inclusion Support is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a small, thriving school in Newark supporting children and young people with autism and complex needs, across primary and secondary phases.

The Role:
We are seeking an inspirational Headteacher who will:
* Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated team of staff.
* Drive the school’s vision and strategic direction, particularly through growth.
* Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and pastoral care for all pupils.
* Promote strong relationships with families, external partners, and the wider community.
* Champion SEND inclusion at every level, ensuring all pupils can thrive.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
* Proven leadership experience, ideally within SEND settings.
* Strong understanding of autism and complex needs.
* Experience across primary and secondary phases is desirable.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Vision, energy, and the ability to lead a school through growth and change.
