An average day as a vehicle Appraiser…
  • All Vehicle Inspectors are responsible for consistently achieving quality and quantity outputs in line with our SLA’s and branch targets.
  • In order to produce detailed reports you will accurately inspect vehicles and provide support to the operations team with ongoing process and movement of inspected vehicles.
  • You will take high quality photos of the vehicles and ensure images and inspection standards are in line with current Standard Operating Procedures.
  • You will ensure that the onsite process for key storage is followed and give information regarding inspections as and when required to demonstrate expertise and value of the product and service.
  • You will need to consistently meet productivity targets such as Quality and SLA targets.
About you…
  • Have up-to-date knowledge of BVRLA fair wear and tear standards.
  • Have the ability to cope well under pressure and work effectively within a team.
  • Have the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
  • Have basic mechanical knowledge would be an advantage
  • Have up to date - Knowledge of vehicle derivatives
  • Be computer literate - able to use hand held device
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Have competent knowledge of operating computers
Additional duties will include
  • Inspections (10.30 + Advantage + Budget front images + caravans + Motorbikes + Non runners)
  • Number plates (Mainly for 10.30 + Advantage)
  • Fuel top ups
  • Lot numbers in cars
  • 10.30 Lot board
  • Organisation of different section within 10.30 sale
