Are you organized, detail-loving, and secretly thrilled by a perfectly labeled box? We're looking for a Receiving Associate who keeps things moving behind the scenes and makes sure everything that comes through our doors is accounted for, organized, and ready to roll.
If you like staying active, working with a team, and being the hero of inventory accuracy - this might be your spot.
Your To-Do:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Verify received items against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Record and document all incoming goods accurately in inventory management system.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies or issues.
- Prepare and process receiving reports and related documentation.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of received items to prevent damage or contamination.
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area and follow safety procedures.
The Right Fit Looks Like:
- You've earned a high school diploma or equivalent- extra credit if you've earned certifications in logistics or supply chain management.
- Previous warehouse or receiving experience.
- You have forklift experience or are comfortable operating a forklift (certification is a plus).
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment and tools.
- You're detailed oriented and catch the small stuff.
- You communicate clearly and work well with others.
- You're comfortable with basic computer skills and inventory management software.
- You can safely lift and move heavy materials on a regular basis and stand for extended periods.
- You're dependable - when you say you'll do it, it gets done
