Job Description
** Material Specialist

Job Description and Requirements:
*** Flexible shift assignment
* Flexible work assignments  + Mail room Distribution  + Medical Supply Room Stock Maintenance  + Receiving (loading dock)  + Regular communication with management regarding stock levels and inventory issues
* Daily Supply Room stocking responsibilities  + Keep storage area clean and organized  + Accurate stock level count  + Follow stock rotation guidelines to minimize expired stock  + Monitor and review stock and remove expired stock  + Effectively utilize supply inventory system tools to ensure supply availability  + Replenish supply/equipment areas according to established par levels  + Notify management of out of stock, supply utilization or other change
* Mailroom responsibilities  + Collect and prepare correspondence to be mailed (e.g. applying for appropriate stamps, verifying addresses)  + Track mailroom supplies for Pitney Bowes machine  + Screening and sorting incoming mail and packages
* Other warehouse duties as requested by management
*
* Required Experience:

*** Valid driver’s license
* Demonstrated ability to use computer and hand devices
* Knowledge of basic inventory control concept and proven ability to perform accurate record keeping.
* Demonstrated ability to understand and perform mailroom sorting and delivery functions
* Power jack, manual jack and hi - lo experience required
* Ability to drive a truck
*
* Physical Requirements:

*** Lift up to 25 lbs. with the occasion lifting of up to 50 lbs.
* Moving pallets with assistance of equipment
* Physical ability to stock supplies on 6ft shelving

Days w/ eo wknd & hols; 9a-5p
** Salary Range: $26.629/hr - $28.002/hr
