Material Handler
Position Summary
Responsible for the receipt, documentation, verification and loading/unloading of incoming and outgoing supplies and products ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveries, according to the Company's commitment to quality, exceeding our customer's expectations. Delivers the Company's products to the appropriate department and/or individual and delivers components to their shelf and bin locations. In addition, the Receiving Coordinator will assist with daily warehouse duties to include jobs, cycle counts, shrink wrap, etc.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Process incoming shipments and receive into the computer system.
- Deliver products, as well as move inventory to proper locations.
- Read and answer emails, as well as copy and file Receiving Department paperwork.
- Process return purchase orders, pick components for jobs and issues and maintain an organized and tidy work area.
- Inventory Control
- Assist with the delivery of furniture for the Production Department
- Pack and process UPS and Fed Ex Freight Shipments
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
QualificationsEducation and Experience
- High school diploma or GED

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Computer proficiency includes word processing.
- Some analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Working knowledge of computerized receiving processes, product class codes, and returns procedures.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems.
- Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers.

Physical and Mental Requirements- Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.
- Exerts in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Close mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing, analyzing, and interpreting data and figures, using a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.
$18.00-$19.00
Environmental ConditionsWork is performed in a warehouse with exposure to temperature changes, noise, potential for physical injury, and proximity to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
