SDC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in our state-of-the-art warehouse facility. Our recently renovated and expanded warehouse provides a great work environment. Warehouse Associates pick, pack and ship Genuine Subaru Parts and Accessories to 68 regional Subaru retailers in New York and Northern New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and ship ordered items to Subaru retailers.
• Receives and stocks inbound orders while noting the quantity and any discrepancies in quantities, as well as recording any damages.
• Utilize various types of top-of-the-line equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks and electric picking carts.
• Utilize RF scanners to accurately process inbound and outbound orders.
• Maintain a consistent work schedule: 7:00AM to 3:30PM and/or 10:30AM to 7:00PM work schedule (Monday through Friday) with regular overtime and Saturdays as needed.
• Perform inventory cycle counts at a high level of accuracy.
• Conduct daily cleaning and safety inspections on equipment and facility.
• Execute miscellaneous tasks and special assignments as required.

Skills/Qualifications

• Highly organized and able to multitask.
• Team-oriented.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods of time & walking long distances.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with various types of warehouse equipment.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Adequate hearing and vision capabilities to perform duties safely and effectively.
• Preferred
  
  Skills:
• Warehouse experience preferred, but not essential.
• Experience operating forklifts, order pickers and reach trucks desirable.
