Catering Driver (PT) (Transportation)

Join our team at Uncle Giuseppes Marketplace in Port Washington. We’re seeking a Part‑time Catering Driver to support our busy Catering Department. In this role, you’ll ensure our gourmet food is delivered quickly, safely, and professionally to our customers’ locations while always maintaining the high‑quality service Uncle Giuseppes is known for. (A CDL is not required. A company SUV is provided for all catering deliveries.)

• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all local, state, and federal driving regulations
• Load, transport, and deliver catering orders; set up food and supplies at customer locations
• Assist with in‑store pick‑ups, packaging orders, and preparing condiments and paper goods
• Support off‑premise events such as BBQs, omelet stations, weddings, and more (with pay differential)
• Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery and event
• Load and unload catering equipment and ensure vehicles are kept clean and organized

• Must be at least 19 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience and at least 1 year of delivery experience
• Valid NYS Drivers License, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 lbs (heavier items with assistance)
• Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills
• Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to read, speak, and understand English

Frequent movement on hard surfaces, with occasional bending, reaching, or stooping. Exposure to varying temperatures (freezers, ovens, coolers) and occasional use of cleaning agents or equipment. May require lifting or moving heavy items with assistance.
