Customs Entry Writer. We are looking for an Entry Writer for our client based near JFK airport. The ideal candidate would have minimum 2 years experience within entry writing, preferably Cargo Wise knowledge, and have a solid understanding of U.S. Customs regulations.
Responsibilities- Prepare and process import documentation for air and ocean shipments.
- Use Cargo Wise for data entry and tracking of customs entries.
- Ensure shipments comply with U.S. Customs regulations.
- Coordinate with brokers, importers, and freight forwarders for smooth clearance.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes.
- Minimum 2 years experience in customs entry writing and import compliance.
- Proficient in Cargo Wise.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs rules and procedures.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Must be a US citizen.
$65k - $80k.
