Our client, a leading international freight forwarder & customs broker is seeking a Customs Brokerage Entry Writer to process data/documents for both ocean & air import shipments. This position is based in NYC, and offers a competitive salary and generous benefits.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:- At least 2 years of experience with customs brokerage
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Process data/documents for import air & ocean shipments.
- Coordinate with vendors and carriers to provide timely and exemplary service to clients and partners.
- Handle and maintain accuracy of all related documents, monitor the status of shipments, and keep clients informed.
- Proactively handle any challenges that arise in the day-to-day operations, promoting positive results.
