Location: New York
- Operate and drive trucks safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Read and follow location and road maps to determine the best routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using a
Crane operator (HMO license required). - Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain and verify delivery paperwork for accuracy.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist the
Yard Foreman with warehouse and yard duties when not driving.
- CDL Class A license (required).
- Minimum2 years of commercial driving experience
, preferably in construction. - Experience handling heavy equipment and oversized loads.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to lift and secure heavy loads.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
