Delivery Driver – The Parts Authority

Our drivers represent the company in daily client interactions. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities- Pick up and deliver automotive parts within assigned routes and schedules.
- Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and correct charges.
- Follow dispatcher directions, adhere to routes, and use navigation apps.
- Assist with loading/unloading at customer locations without interfering with operations.
- Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints professionally.
- Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Accept payments, prepare and reconcile reports, invoices, returns, and cash.
- Perform daily maintenance checks on the company vehicle and report issues.
- Assist with warehouse duties such as stocking and parts pulling as assigned.
- Maintain and promote workplace safety.
- Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must meet company insurance requirements – drivers must be 21 years or older.
- Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
- Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds (Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers up to 75 pounds).
- Manage, track, and account for money transactions; reconcile customer credit and debt balances.
- Use a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer interface/signature capture.
- Exceptional customer communication skills; professional, tactful, and diplomatic.
- Take and follow directions; work well with others as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
